The Office of International Cooperation at SIMAD University is pleased to announce the Preliminary Evaluation Results for the Erasmus+ KA171 Student Mobility Programme at Kütahya Dumlupınar University (DPU), Türkiye, for the 2026–2027 academic year.

A total of 22 applications were received for this call. Following the eligibility screening, 12 applicants met the requirements and proceeded to evaluation, while 10 applicants were not considered eligible for further evaluation because they did not submit valid proof of the required minimum B1 English proficiency through TOEFL, IELTS, PTE Academic, Duolingo English Test, or the SIMAD University-administered Linguaskill Exam before the application deadline.

Based on the available quota and the approved selection requirements, six students have been provisionally selected, while one student has been placed on the reserve list. These results are preliminary, and the selected students will proceed to official nomination to the host institution after completing the acceptance and confirmation process. The University congratulates the selected students and appreciates all applicants for their interest and participation in this mobility opportunity.

Selection Process

Eligible applications were evaluated using the published selection criteria and a structured scoring system covering academic performance, English proficiency, and applicable additional points.

Academic course compatibility was also considered. To qualify for selection, applicants were required to have at least 50% of their SIMAD semester courses matched with courses available at DPU. Applicants who did not meet this minimum course-matching requirement were not considered for selection, regardless of their Total Score.

The evaluation was conducted by the Selection Committee in line with Erasmus+ KA171 requirements and SIMAD University procedures, ensuring fairness, transparency, and equal opportunity throughout the process.

Next Steps and Important Instructions

The appeal and acceptance period is 24–25 August 2026.

Selected students must confirm their acceptance within this period. Applicants wishing to appeal the preliminary results should contact the Office of International Cooperation within the stated timeframe.

Following the completion of the appeal and acceptance period, the selected students will proceed to the official nomination stage with Kütahya Dumlupınar University.
