CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: ERASMUS+ KA107 STUDENT MOBILITY PROGRAM
SIMAD University is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Erasmus+ KA107 Student Mobility Program in collaboration with Kütahya Dumlupınar University (DPU), Turkey, for the 2025-2026 academic year. This program provides undergraduate students with the opportunity to study at DPU for one semester under a fully funded mobility program. Selected students will benefit from an enriching academic experience, cultural exchange, and international networking, enhancing their academic and professional competencies.
Mobility Duration
The mobility period will be for one semester during the 2025-2026 academic year
Eligibility Criteria
This mobility opportunity is available only to students from the following departments:
• Business Administration
• English Language and Literature
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
• Be a full-time undergraduate student at SIMAD University.
• Have successfully completed at least two academic years before the start of the mobility.
• Have a minimum GPA of 2.50/4.00.
• Provide proof of English proficiency through TOEFL, IELTS, or take the SIMAD University-administered Linguaskill Exam.
Students intending to take the SIMAD Linguaskill Exam must register before the application deadline.
Evaluation Criteria
The selection of candidates will be based on academic merit and English proficiency, with additional considerations for inclusivity and first-time applicants. The evaluation process follows these weighted criteria:
- Academic Performance (60%): The CGPA is converted into a 100-point scale (CGPA × 25), and the final academic score is determined as 60% of the total selection score.
- English Proficiency (40%): Applicants are assessed based on TOEFL, IELTS, or the SIMAD University-administered Lingua-skill Exam results. The final language score is weighted at 40% of the total selection score.
Additional points will be awarded under the following conditions:
- Students with Disabilities: +5 points.
- Female Applicants: +5 points.
- First-Time Erasmus+ Applicants: +10 points.
Final scores will be ranked, and applicants will be selected based on available slots.
Application Process
Application Deadline: All applications must be submitted by March 8, 2025.
Submission Method: All applications must be submitted via the official Google Form.
Required Documents
- Official Transcript of Records, certified by SIMAD University.
- Motivation Letter (500 words) outlining academic and career objectives.
- English Proficiency Certificate.
- Copy of Passport, valid for at least six months beyond the mobility period.
- Recent Passport-Size Photo (official format with a white background).
Financial Support
Under the Erasmus+ KA107 project, selected students will receive:
- Monthly stipend to cover living expenses.
- Round-trip travel grants to and from Turkey.
- Full tuition fee waiver at Kütahya Dumlupınar University.
Sustainability Commitment
The Erasmus+ program encourages environmentally sustainable travel. Students who complete at least 50% of their journey using eco-friendly travel methods (such as trains or buses) and provide supporting documentation may receive additional travel support.
Final Remarks
Applications must be submitted within the specified deadline, and all required documents must be uploaded correctly. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Selected students will be notified following the evaluation process, and further instructions will be provided for their mobility period. This is a competitive selection process; therefore, students are encouraged to prepare their applications carefully.
