Call for Applications: Erasmus+ KA171 Student Mobility Program

SIMAD University is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Erasmus+ KA171 Student Mobility Program in collaboration with the Zagreb School of Business (PVZG), Croatia, for the 2025–2026 academic year. This exchange program provides students with the opportunity to study abroad for one semester under a fully funded Erasmus+ mobility. Selected students will benefit from academic enrichment, cultural exposure, and international networking that will enhance their academic and professional development.

Mobility Duration

The mobility period will cover one Fall semester during the 2025–2026 academic year, in line with the academic calendar and arrangements of the Zagreb School of Business.

Eligible Departments

This mobility opportunity is open to both undergraduate and postgraduate students from the following departments:

  • Business Administration
  • Procurement and Logistics Management
  • Digital Marketing

 

Applicant Requirements

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be full-time students enrolled at SIMAD University.
  • Have successfully completed at least two semesters (one academic year).
  • Hold a minimum GPA of 2.67 out of 4.00.
  • Provide proof of English proficiency through:
    • TOEFL or IELTS, or
    • The SIMAD-administered Linguaskill Exam. Minimum accepted level is B2 (equivalent to IELTS 5.5–6.5 or TOEFL iBT 72–94).

 

Required Documents

Applicants must upload the following documents:

  1. Transcript of Records (certified by SIMAD University).
  2. Motivation Letter (500 words) explaining academic and professional goals.
  3. English Proficiency Certificate.
  4. Copy of Passport (if available; mandatory before final nomination).

 

Selection Process

Applications will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

Up to 15 points

Only eligible candidates will be invited to an interview, which will assess their motivation, communication skills, and readiness for international study.

Additional bonus points will be awarded as follows:

  • Female applicants: 5 points
  • Students with disabilities: 5 points
  • First-time Erasmus+ applicants: 10 points

Final scores will be calculated, and candidates will be selected based on merit and the available quota under the mobility program.

  • Interview Date: June 25, 2025,
  • Submission: All applications must be submitted via this official Google Form.

 

Only complete applications submitted before the deadline will be considered.

Important Note on the Mobility Process

This application marks the first stage in the Erasmus+ mobility process. Selected candidates will then proceed through several key steps:

  1. Nomination: SIMAD University will nominate the selected students to the Zagreb School of Business.
  2. Host University Application: Nominated students will complete PVZG’s official application, the documents required:
    • The Learning Agreement form (to be given)
    • A filled in and signed application form
    • The arrival form
    • A copy of the EU-Health Card or a private health insurance policy
    • An official certificate/proof of English proficiency
    • A photo for the Student Administration Office
    • The academic transcript issued and stamped
    • A copy of national ID card or passport
    • A letter of recommendation
  1. Acceptance: The host university will review applications and issue formal letters of acceptance to qualified students.
  2. Pre-departure Support: Accepted students will receive assistance with visa preparation, travel planning, and academic onboarding.
  3. Mobility Period (Fall Semester/Oct/ 2025): Students will attend one semester of study at PVZG under the Erasmus+ KA171 framework.

Applicants are encouraged to approach the opportunity with full commitment, understanding that each step requires timely participation and academic responsibility.

Financial Support

Students selected under this program will receive full Erasmus+ financial support:

  • Monthly stipend for living expenses in Croatia
  • Round-trip travel support
  • Full tuition waiver at the Zagreb School of Business
