We are pleased to introduce #SIMADNextGen, a groundbreaking initiative designed to prepare students for success in both the local and global arenas. Supported, guided and supervised by the Office of International Cooperation (OIC), it equips members with the mindset, skills and networks needed to become leaders who will Think Globally, Act Locally and Lead Always.

SIMAD NextGen is a leadership pipeline for future change-makers, the initiative connects SIMAD students with local and global opportunities including:

• international exchange and mobility programs
• cross-cultural collaboration with students and institutional worldwide.
• Capacity-building workshops and training
• Platforms to design and implement impactful community projects

We are pleased to announce the call for applications for the SIMAD Next-Gen Cohort 1 which is your gateway to international opportunities, foster your leadership potential, and community impact.

Program term

The membership runs for one academic year, from August 2025 to August 2026.

Eligibility

We are looking students who:

• Are full-time SIMAD University students.
• Have completed Semester 4 or above.
• Hold minimum English proficiency of B1 (verified by a certificate such as Linguaskill).
• Have a minimum CGPA of 2.67.
• Exhibit openness, collaborative skills, and leadership potential.

Applicants must submit:

1. Curriculum Vitae (CV) – updated and well-structured.
2. English Proficiency Certificate – minimum B1 level.
3. Motivation Letter – outlining why you wish to join and how you will contribute to the program.

Selection timeline

• Announcement & Application period: 12 August 2025 – 26 August 2025
• Shortlisting & Interviews: 28 August 2025
• Results Announcement: 30 August 2025
• Official Launch: 1 September 2025
