SIMAD University is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Erasmus+ KA171 Student Mobility Programme, implemented in collaboration with Kütahya Dumlupınar University (DPU), Türkiye, for the Fall Semester of the 2026–2027 academic year. The programme offers eligible undergraduate students the opportunity to study at DPU for one academic semester with Erasmus+ mobility and travel grant support. Selected students will gain valuable international academic experience, engage in cultural exchange, and strengthen their personal, academic, and professional competencies.

Eligible Faculties and Students
Applications are open to undergraduate students from:
- Faculty of Management Sciences
- Faculty of Accountancy
- Faculty of Economics
All undergraduate programmes within these faculties are eligible. Applicants must be enrolled in an active semester from Semester 3 onward.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be a full-time undergraduate student at SIMAD University.
- Have successfully completed at least one academic year by the application deadline.
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50/4.00.
- Demonstrate at least B1 English proficiency through TOEFL, IELTS, PTE Academic, Duolingo English Test, or the SIMAD University-administered Linguaskill Exam.
- Not exceed a total of 12 months of Erasmus+ mobility within the current study cycle, including the proposed mobility period.

Linguaskill applicants: Students intending to take the SIMAD University-administered Linguaskill Exam must contact the relevant office for examination information. They must sit the examination, receive the result, and submit it before the application deadline. |
Selection and Evaluation Criteria

Where two or more applicants obtain the same final score, the following tie-breaking criteria will apply:
- Higher academic performance score.
- Higher English proficiency score.
- If the tie remains, a transparent draw conducted and formally recorded by the Selection Committee.
Required Application Documents
Applicants must submit:
- One PDF file combining all completed-semester marksheets printed from OCMS.
- A copy of a valid passport with at least six months of remaining validity.
- An English proficiency certificate demonstrating at least B1 level.
- A motivation letter of no more than 500 words.
- A recent passport-size photograph.
- Supporting documentation for disability, only when claiming the additional five points.
Financial Support
Under the Erasmus+ KA171 project, selected students will receive:
- A monthly mobility grant to support living expenses.
- Round-trip travel grant support to and from Türkiye.
- A full tuition-fee waiver at Kütahya Dumlupınar University.

N.B.: The mobility and travel grants will be paid after students arrive in Türkiye. Selected students must therefore be financially prepared to cover their visa fees, flight ticket, insurance, residence permit, and initial living expenses in advance. Any costs exceeding the Erasmus+ grant will remain the student’s responsibility. |

Important Notes
- Six students will be selected, and other eligible applicants may be placed on a reserve list.
- Preliminary selection by SIMAD University does not constitute final acceptance. Selected students will be nominated to DPU for final approval.
- Selected students must confirm their acceptance and submit any additional required documents within the stated period; otherwise, the opportunity may be offered to a reserve candidate.
- Selection does not guarantee the issuance of a Turkish visa. Selected students must fulfil all visa, travel, academic, and immigration requirements.
- Selected students must attend required orientation sessions and comply with SIMAD University, DPU, Erasmus+ requirements.
