Announcement: Erasmus+ KA171 Staff Training Mobility (STT)

SIMAD University is pleased to announce an upcoming Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (KA171) opportunity for staff training in collaboration with Kütahya Dumlupınar University, Türkiye. This programme is part of Erasmus+ efforts to foster capacity building, cross-cultural collaboration, and the sharing of best practices among partner institutions. It supports staff development and institutional cooperation through structured mobility activities between partner universities.

  • Mobility Dates: 01–05 June 2026 (5 working days, excluding travel days)

Programme Theme and Overview

Title: Collaborative Digital Futures: EU-Funded Projects in Higher Education

The staff training week aims to provide participants with opportunities for professional development, exchange of experiences, and engagement in discussions on EU-funded projects in higher education. The programme will focus on strengthening institutional collaboration, enhancing project management capacity, and sharing best practices among partner institutions. Selected participants will be required to deliver a presentation on their experience with EU-funded projects or related institutional initiatives. Applicants are therefore expected to have relevant experience or involvement in projects such as Erasmus+ or other externally funded programmes.

Process and Requirements

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Hold permanent employment status
  • Demonstrate proficiency in English (minimum B2 level, Linguaskill or another recognized international test)
  • Have sufficient service experience to demonstrate familiarity with university operations
  • Be committed to applying the knowledge gained during the programme to their roles at SIMAD University

  4. English language proficiency certificate (minimum B2 level)

 

Selection Principles

Given the limited number of places, the selection process will be competitive and will be conducted in accordance with Erasmus+ KA171 rules, standards, and eligibility criteria.

The evaluation will consider the following:

  • Relevance of the proposed training to the applicant’s current role
  • Expected contribution to SIMAD University’s institutional priorities
  • Potential for sustainable knowledge transfer

 

Financial Conditions

The mobility is fully funded under the Erasmus+ KA171 framework.
